Solving Soil Acidity issues in Agricultural Crops

Acidic soils (particularly when the pH level drops below 5.5) can severely limit crop production. AgrowSil is rich in Silicon, known to be highly effective at managing and correcting problems associated with acidic soils, for all crop types including hay, wheat, corn, soy beans, alfalfa, hay, grass hay.

Both AgrowSil, a calcium silicate agricultural lime, and limestone do an excellent job of neutralizing active acidity in the soil profile. The calcium cation constituent in AgrowSil functions exactly the same way as in Limestone.

A number of enhancements and additional benefits can be expected with the use of AgrowSil compared to application of either calcitic or dolomitic liming materials. These performance enhancements and benefits are associated with the formation of reactive silicon species into the bulk soil solution (primarily monosilicic acid), following its contribution to lowering soil acidity.

AgrowSil is sold in bulk powder form. The method for using AgrowSil is the same as normal liming methods (lime spreader and tractor). AgrowSil increases crop yield by 5% to 10%, is great for no-till, and holds phosphorus in the soil. It also improves water-use efficiency, and fertilizer uptake.
